The pianist/singer and runner-up on NBC-TV’s “America’s Got Talent in 2008” is traveling through Door County to connect with fans who have been asking for his return. Mattson has been touring across the country the past few months and writing new music, hoping to put together enough material to record an album in the near future.

Mattson takes the stage for two hours in the intimate upstairs music room at 8 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the Ladder House, 38 S. Third Ave., Sturgeon Bay.
