Jan 3, 1954 - Hello Dear Diary, After church I made a stage for my puppet show. Teddy Snow Crop is my favorite puppet. Teddy's face has a nice smell. Then Mommy and I painted. I tried not to make a mess but I did anyhow. We played monopoly and Daddy popped corn. Then Mommy and I played Sunday school. I was the teacher and she was the child. It made me very tired so I am going to bed early. Good night.

(Apparently, I was actually painting, not EATING the lead paint chips all of those years. I have used that to explain my erratic behaviors and now I discover it may not be true.
