You'll have to get your walking boots on, because the BBC's Countryfile team will be on the Island today (Friday) to film a speed dating walk.

Walk organisers have this morning (Friday) issued an urgent appeal for people to take part, and anyone interested should contact Elaine Cesar, by noon, on 07970 009 909.

Walkers will meet at St Catherine's car park, near the Buddle Inn, Niton, at 1.45pm, for a short stroll along the coast.

Elaine said: "Countryfile wanted to film one of our speed dating walks because they have been so successful, but we need some more people to come along and join in. It's a chance to be on TV and a lovely opportunity to meet someone special.
