what is the difference between walking boots and hiking boots?

Its main feture between them is how it supports your feet. Hiking would be a sturdy, griping and comphy boot, they are most times go slightly higher up your leg than walking boots. Walking boots will be light, airy and not really that much water proof!!

walking boots are for well walking... hiking boots are for rougher terrain, steeper slopes, just meant to take more of a beating and not get wet or ruined

Gotta try them on to see how each brand fits. Rockport makes some of the best walking shoes. For outdoor hiking, you need more of a boot. The Nike ACG (all conditions gear) line of footwear is great and can be found on sale if you look around at
